Berkley Fusion19 Bottom Weights
The Berkley Fusion19 Bottom Weights, also known as Cheburashka weights are designed to present a soft plastic lure on the bottom.
Providing a very similar presentation to a jig head but providing additional benefits, the Cheburashka or bottom weights provide more articulation, a weedless presentation and provide a quick way of changing weight to suit your fishing conditions.
These weights feature a sphere shaped weight that has a slot through the middle of it that a small paper-like clip slides into. On one end of this clip your line is tied on whilst on the wider end of the clip an offset hook is clipped on.
The weight provides a more natural presentation overall and designed to fool the wariest of fish. The increased articulation can also help enhance the movement of a lure even with the subtlest of rod tip twitches.
These weights work extremely well with all soft plastic lures that are designed to accommodate an offset hook. Try using a soft plastic lure with floating properties to create another dimension to your presentation.
