Colours can be applied straight from the stick in thick layers, to smudge, blend or scrape away for a variety of texture effects.

They apply smoothly and blend easily using cotton buds, fingers, blenders or tortillons to create subtle shades, tints and colour mixtures.

Thin with turpentine or white spirit to blend and soften and for painting effects and consistency.

Their slow drying time means a piece can be worked on for several weeks if desired.
