Vintage framed oil on canvas still life painting by mid century artist Philippe Marchand. Signed original still life of fruit executed in heavy layers by French artist Phillipe Marchand. The style of painting is known as French school which Marchand studied at the academy of fine arts in Paris in the 1950's, this being his main style of painting. This piece dates to the mid 1960's as suggested by his style and heavy frame.

This artwork would suit any mid century or modern studio, living room or as collectable investment art.
