The Thomashilfen Quick Hi/Low base is a versatile, alternative frame that allows you to move the Thomashilfen seating systems from the mobility or stroller base, creating an indoor base that is great for family, therapy, or classroom inclusion.

What makes Quick different from comparable hi/low bases starts with a patented tipping prevention function called the Balance Safety System or BSS®. When you recline the back of EASyS the seat slides forward. This prevents the child's weight from shifting backwards, maintaining their center of gravity. The important postural supports like the pelvic belt remain in position and you rest assured of your child's safety. The lowest position of the Quick allows the child to sit at the level of their peers during group activities. In the low position the footrest can easily be removed allowing long sitting, which helps stretch the child's hamstrings.

The EASyS and Thevo Twist seating systems can all be used in conjunction with the Quick Hi/Low base. You can recline the seat backs from 90° to between 140 - 180° depending on which system you have. You can set it at any angle you prefer. There are two foot pedals located at the base of the frame. One operates the hi/low movement and the other the tilt-in-space. The hi/low ranges from 11" to 28" and the seat tilts to 31° Quick Hi/Low comes in a single size, but both size 1 and 2 seating systems can be used with the Quick. Since each seat size grows considerably in seat depth and width and back height, the Quick can serve as a great indoor base for over a long period of time.

For additional postural support and positioning many accessories can be used with any of the Thomashilfen seating systems. The examples we selected to show you on this EASyS Modular seat are, lateral trunk supports, padded h-style anterior chest support, 2 point padded hip belt, and a headrest with neck support. Cam buckles are pre-installed making it convenient for you to clip and unclip the belts when moving your child in and out of the chair.

Height and angle adjustable trays used with any of the seats and Quick make a great desktop for the classroom or a feeding chair for home. The upholstery on Thomashilfen seats is breathable and washable. The fabric is designed to help move heat and moisture away from the child's back, keeping him or her cooler and comfortable.
