Vasa Mihich is a renowned Los Angeles based artist known for his sleek, colourful and captivating acrylic sculptures. He is a Senior Professor of Design at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he has taught color theory for many years.
For nearly 50 years he has been working in acrylics, whether on canvas or through sculpture.
His sculptures, with their different geometric planes suspended in acrylic, are dynamic and endlessly fascinating.
Caviar20 is excited to offer two domestically proportioned "Baton" sculptures by Mihich - "Hawaii" and "Primary."
"Hawaii" is composed of yellow, tangerine and bubblegum pink, while "Primary" is composed of red, green and blue. Both feature a thin upright planks composed of geometric planes of different colors suspended in acrylic.
